At first I didn't want to use the Machette, but rather a pirate saber. Some ingame shots show her to have one.

Then I thought... The machette does emhasise the character, much as Connor's Tomahawk, and the Machette should be a little easier to move around with.

The thing is made out of a PVC pipe and the handle is made of 2 pieces of wood.

The logo of the belt is also PVC.
I must admit I am pretty satisfied with the whole thing so far :D

Might add more yellow patern thingies on the red waiste belt, but not certian yet.

I think the whole look of the costume is good so far.

More soon!!

Try furniture textiles, they tend to have the right "roughness and sturdieness" you might want :)

Would you be willing to do commissions? I'm trying to make a zombie killing costume and love the rugged look of that machete and sheath.

I've actually decided to change my costume and, much to my dismay, it no longer includes a machete. I do love your work, though!

Looks great!:D Very accurate!:D The blade of the machette is made out of PVC pipe? How did you make it look like flat metal?

I heat it up in the oven after sawing it out of the pipe. Then it get's all flimsy and if your not carefull even liquid.
Then you can flatten it, by pressing it down on the kitchen table and a flat surface on top of it. Cools down and hardens in less then 5 minutes.
