AC III - Aveline left gauntlet by RBF-productions-NL AC III - Aveline left gauntlet by RBF-productions-NL
Publicity renders show Aveline to have the hidden blade on her left arm. Ingame shots show it on her right.

We choose for left, as all assassin's have it there and more importantly... My wife is right handed and this thing is more constricting then the other gauntlet Aveline has.

I kind of like this thing

No hidden blade yet, just a base plate that has the wiring attached to it.

I am in complete awe of your work on Connor and Aveline. I can't wait to see the finished product. Between you and Fev! I'm in assassin heaven! I'm curious as to your vision of a modern day assassin. I'm stuck on a fusion of dark knights black plated armor with the cloth and hood of an assassin. Keep up the good work and keep taking pictures!

Would be a nice project, a present-day or future assassin. I'd wait with that project though as I am certain that there will be a full-length game where you play as Desmond in a present day city.

Fev makes incredible props!!!

Thanks for the compliments!!!

Id love that. Im thinking of ways to get a working (turning) hidden blade, and well I thought of a sliding rail (the ones you see from under your desk if you have a sliding part underneath), make a little point so it gets stuck in there and finally making it into a pointy blade...

But ... >.> I dunno how to make it turn yet... ugh.

I've done 3 hidden blades so far. 2 could slide out and be retracted.

Wasn'e satisfied though. I'll be doing a set for Connor and Aveline. Probably the same as Altair's, wich allowed you to draw the blade by stretching your finger and hand. It would retract of you made a fist.

Ah yes, I figured out how it would work with the ring and all through: [link]
And the artworks in the ACR book that was with the Animus Last year, but Im afraid Im not skilled enough to make it.

I have bought the right fabrics today for the Lady Maverick so with some luck, I have a WIP done in a month. (Without the correct weapon and I will make a fake (try-out) corset first)

Lovely detailing.

I've noticed mirroring of concept art for in-game images too, for my Sharpshooter cosplay. Weird that it's happening. Good reasoning about the hidden blade.
