What is your point? I used to darken my face for Connor. That was thought racially insensitive by some. Hence I deleted those pictures and used make up closer to my own skin color.
Whatever your take or point on this subject I am beyond caring about any of it as you cannot possibly hope to please everyone and I haven't the slightest interest of re-opening that can of worms for anyone, especially not for someone who comes bashing his one-line-quickly-typed stupid commentary.
Don't like this? Look in the upper right corner of the screen.... should be an "X".... Click it... Problem solved.
i'm an aboriginal womanfrom the maliseet tribe, and let me tell you something: it is racially offensive. you're using my skin tone as a costume. you can wipe off that goddamn makeup and return to your life of white privilege, and i can't. which, yes, happens to be super insensitive.
i found this while searching through here to find some good connor cosplays. this horrified me. why do you white boys have to do fucking brownface to cosplay as connor when you could leave him alone and maybe, oh i don't know, cosplay as one of the other billion white characters out there? i get that you like connor, but this isn't the way to show that. make art, write stories, replay his game. anything but this.
I watched the picture again... seriously.... how could I be any whiter on this picture other then being dead....
But then that would be whitewashing right? So it;s white washing or brownfacing right? You know what? Let's just call it cosplaying for now and leave it at that. I apologized, changed the make-up to the above (insanely white) and eh.... that's as far as it goes. And much more then anyone else would do.
I see you were raised by taibetan monks specializing in cosplay, makeup, and tailoring... or a shape shifting alien... But seriously it's inspiring to see such a talented couple. It makes me think there may be more to life outside of my office cubicle, but those are dangerous foolish thoughts.
