New Program: MischiefSo there's this program called Mischief that I feel like not a lot of people may know about right now. I only know about it thanks to my tumblr dashboard. Hmm, to talk about it would be easier in bullet points so let's get to that.Infinite canvas, resolution, and dimension. It's all specialized textured vector so no matter how small you draw you can export it to a .psd or .jpg of ANY RESOLUTION AND ANY DIMENSION which is pretty fucking amazing and helps those people who can't handle heavy programs or preset resolutions like in SAI or Photoshop. It's like drawing on paper. Like to me it's really forgiving paper. The select tool is pretty much like a canvas cropping device-- you select and then you can export the selected area as the cropped image. Otherwise it doesn't do nice things like resize, scale, or rotate. (Just yet anyway, I think they're still developing.) So it's a good practice tool. It's really smooth and pleasant to draw
Realities of working at a video games studioHeerrrooo! Second vid vid of the week is here! Some chatty chatter about the game industry in here, check it out! Oh and the start of another painting
I'm posting this article on an art site... oh boyhttp://everydayfeminism.com/2014/06/dont-call-me-beautiful/People, please read that. No snarky or sarcastic comments, please. I probably won't be humored by it since what I'm looking for is a legit, serious conversation about the excessive use of the phrase "you're beautiful."I have a MAJOR problem with this phrase. When I was little, my parents told me that I needed to lose more weight so I could look prettier. So I told them that so-and-so said that I was pretty already. That was then my parents told me, "Who would insult you in public by saying otherwise? In this world, the only people you can trust are your parents."Well, that's cool I guess. Smack the self-esteem of a 10-year-old, will ya? Builds character? Sure, why not. Problem is every teacher, friend, classmate or stranger that called me "beautiful" immediately got slapped on my "untrusted" list by reflex after that.12 years later, I still haven't lost any weight (on the extreme contrary, I've gained a lot more
Moving Again - Kiriban 100k Over - Raffle OverMy bf and I are moving again soon (to Boston area!) near the end of the month. I'm looking for game design schools in that area and people that I can connect with around there. It's hard to jump into a community without friends, and though I'm a bit awkwardish, I hope I can organize some sort of a DA hangout/anime and manga drawing group there, perhaps using MeetUp.Finally, less than 2000 pageviews left till kiriban. I'll offer something (I'm not sure what I'll give yet) to one person who captures the screenshot of 100,000 pageviews.Since there's a chance of no one catching it, I'mma do a raffle that offers the same prize. To enter:1 - You must be watching me.2 - You must fav this journal. It's optional to share the journal. o voBut if you want to join, please do hurry. I will pick the winner at the same time I know the Kiriban's winner, so there isn't a definite "end" date.Good luck!

I came back safely from trip to Italy last week.It was pleasurable journey.Firenze is an amazing, so beautiful city...!!I think I can little understand Ezio has wanted to return to his homeland at the end.I had visited almost all buildings that appeared to AC2 in Firenze.Because they are naturally the same as the game really, I was so excitedThe real buildings is considerably larger than the game.I can't think they can go to the top and climb the wall...lolI climbed to the top of the Duomo (use the stairs! lol) and also visited the Uffizi Gallery.I got to see "the Annunciation to the Virgin Mary" by Leonardo finally! My long-cherished dream has been realized. The food was delicious, of course! I wasn't tired of eating every day ItalianCheese and wine is inexpensive, Gelato and Cantuccini taste so good, too!The end of the trip was an optional tour to visit Siena,Monteriggioni and San Gimignano.Monteriggioni is smaller than th
