We're getting there! by RBF-productions-NL We're getting there! by RBF-productions-NL
This is going very fast, much faster then I expected. There are some more parts that are a lot more work then these parts so far. Mostly this was searching, buying, editting and weathering. Not as much work as some other projects I've done, but fun and relaxing none the same.
It's still challenging to get these kind of characters to look like the exact character rather then a smacked together millitairy outfit that vaguely resembles the character. I want this to be really him!! 'round the 20th of march it's time for the prelude!!! I can't wait!!

I'll be using Naked Snake's knee guard and glove for this guy. Allready got some paracord for the other leg.

Waiting for the M12 holster extender to get in and then I'll be weathering the crap out of those 2 and add them to this get-up. Still need a knife that would fit the one seen in-game oon the back next to the buttpack (horizontal position).

Then the scarf/cape... a Hell-boy arm.... A devil's horne shrapnel part in my skull... a devil's tale sling with ring on the buttpack and I'll be ready for hell :P :)

More soon!!

God, is this looking good.
A tutorial or a bit input on how you weather would be interesting. Every artist does it a bit different.
Your technique seems to be more developed, though.
So, I'm curious on HOW you weather the clothes :)

Since, you're in the Netherlands… you comming to the Gamescom in Germany?
I plan on going there this year.

Thanks!!!! :D
Well I use a lot of paint but I decide on how to go at it when I am standing outside with the brushes, sponges and spray cans in my hands.... that isnt helpful at all... is it? :( Sorry!

I doubt I'll be at Gamescom, but who knows :)

Hahahah, I can only imagine :)
Otherwise I can't really explain people how to do things myself, so I guess it's alright.

Aww, too bad.
Will check out your updates, maybe something comes up. Who knows ;)

A teacher… you must be very popular with the girls, huh? ;)
Do you even get out of the house without being attacked by fangirls??

No, it's alright, really.
It's trial and error with weathering and painting sometimes.

Don't worry. Yes, you seem like a great regular dude. Who happens to create awesome costumes.
Who happens to impress even the game makers.
Yes, you are regular :D
